Thoughts from a recent email...

I'm still volunteering with Youth Dynamics. I have three more weeks before I have to head back to Seattle and "the real world". I've had such an amazing summer of growth. I don't even know where to begin! God has been doing awesome things through the people here. I thought I was coming here to serve the summer staff here as they minister to middle and high school aged kids. Oh man, it's been so much more than that! I've gotten to learn from the summer staff (and hopefully they've learned a thing or two from me too), from the full time staff here, from the books I've been able to read, and the conversations I've heard others having. I'm super jazzed right now and my evolving relationship with and trust in Jesus. I'm a bit nervous about going back to Seattle and forgetting all that I've learned. But I'm also excited to take my current energy back to All Saints' (I've been thinking we need a college ministry/life group) and my friends and hope to keep fueling my fire.
