Jobs are starting to pop up for next year and I'm super excited about it! I've got my resume ready and I'm working on applications and cover letters. I'm so excited to have a full time job! Although, at this point I'd take a part time job too... and balance it with personal training. But it sure would be cool to have a full time job.
If I had a full time job...
- I can add to my savings every month.
- I can save money on gas by not driving around all day running errands.
- I can earn a teaching tax credit.
- I can earn benefits such as tuition assistance (for grad school).
- I can have coworkers (for better or worse).
- I can get direct deposit.
- I can stop looking at the job listings every single day.
- I can plan trips around school holidays and look forward to summer and spring breaks instead of dread them (because now spring break just means a week that I won't be subbing anywhere!).
- I can take care off all my financial responsibilities.
- I can get my own medical insurance (sure using my Dad's is AWESOME, but it won't last forever).
So basically I'm super excited about getting a full time job for the next school year. Once I secure my employment for next year, I'll be able to relax a lot. Then I'll just have to focus my energies on the remainder of this school year and (yikes!) summer!
